Dietary advice
Dietary advice is available to anyone, in good health or ill, with or without a doctor’s prescription. The dietician provides dietary and/or nutritional advice or offers nutritional therapies to guide and support patients in achieving their goals. The number of consultations and the duration of the dietetic treatment depend on the health problem in question, its severity and the patient’s progress.
Covered from the age of 16.
Dietary consultations take place at the Gesondheetszentrum by appointment only. Consultation times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12pm to 6.30pm
For more information on the diseases covered by the CNS, please visit the CNS. The services provided by the dietician are only reimbursed by the health insurance scheme if they are issued on the basis of an original, prior medical prescription.
Treatment of overweight and obesity
- Overweight and obesity cannot (any longer) be treated with a strict diet. We need to look at the person’s lifestyle as a whole in order to find ways of bringing about a lasting change in eating habits.
Nutritional therapies
- Generally aimed at people suffering from an illness or health problem. Dietary treatment can be a complementary therapy to support medical treatment or the sole treatment (hypertension, fatty liver (NAFLD/NASH), hypercholesterolaemia, hypertriglyceridaemia, insulin resistance, type II diabetes, etc.).
Rebalancing your diet
- Generally aimed at people who are healthy (a change in diet, a new phase in their life cycle or simply for information purposes) and want to make the most of the nutrients and other vital substances contained in food to maintain good health.
